Hiro's father is the father of Hiro Shishigami and Yuko's ex-husband.

Hiro's father is a tall middle aged man with short brown hair and light brown eyes.
Background[]
Hiro's father was formerly married to his mom. The reason behind their divorce is unknown but he's now married to another woman and together they had 2 children. The father does not seem to have noticed that Hiro hates a strong contempt for him, for having been left when he was still a child. Despite having another family, Hiro's father never forgot his son and tried to be with him.
He is shocked when the news on television reveals that Hiro is responsible for the murders that have taken place in recent weeks. Shortly after his mother's suicide, reporters come to his home asking for information about Hiro. The father as his responsibility, tries to apologize for what his son has done. However, at that same moment Hiro arrives, thirsting for revenge, brutally massacres all the journalists under the terrified gaze of his father. The latter begs Hiro not to shoot him, alche the son takes off and goes away. After these events, Hiro's father and his other family are no longer shown. However, one can guess that these tragic events have forever marked their lives and that things will never be the same for them.

Hiro and his father are on very good terms. he often comes to their house to visit them and he also go fishing with his father when they have time. When his ex-wife Yuko is diagnosed with cancer, she asks her ex-husband to take care of Hiro. The husband promises to take care of the son, taking him to his home and that he will go to university. This proves that Hiro's father really cares about his son despite having another family.
